It was quite the time getting the appointment scheduled due to a shift in employees; however, the Sir Grout office staff worked with us and remained in communication for the transition from the original contractor to another seamlessly.

When the time came, Harry and Alex arrived to repair two full bathrooms on the second story. The hours they put in to ensure the work was done — and done perfectly — does not go unnoticed.

The following two weeks, we had another bathroom on the lower level repaired, along with a full kitchen and laundry room. It was not an easy job. Alex and a co-worker (not Harry) arrived to do the job. Alex took initiative and assessed what repairs were necessary and communicated how to best go about completing the three large tasks.

Due to no fault of Alex, there were some larger issues that happened with the work done in the kitchen and laundry room. Alex completed the bathroom repairs while the co-worker left for the day. Alex remained on site well into the evening to attempt to see what could be done to correct the issues. He communicated with the office of Sir Grout. He also communicated with us and was most apologetic.

Alex and Sir Grout came up with a plan to correct the issues left in the kitchen and the laundry room. Alex returned a few days later and tackled the jobs. He not only corrected the issues that were left — he went above and beyond with his workmanship, his positive attitude, and his professional manner.

In a time such as that, where one is left to clean up a mistake by another person, how one responds in that type of situation is a true measure of character. Alex rose to the occasion!

I would not trust any tile work to anyone other than Alex or Harry from Sir Grout Central New Jersey. They are terrific!

Ray from Sir Grout did a fantastic job on my kitchen, powder room and laundry room tiles. Cleaned, colored the grout and sealed entire floor. Second time using Ray and Sir Grout over 10 years and extremely pleased with their work. The 23-year-old floor looks brand new! Would recommend to anyone needing this service. Quick response to my online inquiry, they came out for the free estimate in a day, reasonable pricing. Within a week, I had the grout repaired, the tiles were cleaned and buffed, and the technician made a 20-year-old ceramic tile floor look brand new. My daughter thought we had a new floor installed. Also, as a bonus, a lot of little details were taken care of including re-caulking around the sink, toilet, etc. These things were a nice touch you don't see a lot of people do.
